A life without Christ is like being in total darkness. You attempt to reach out and hold onto things to help you find your way. You try to get your eyes used to the darkness to help lead you, but your vision isn’t made to see in darkness. Your eyes will never be able to perceive the darkness. Yet, there’s apart of you that realizes that only if you found a light, then and only then you would be able to see clearly.
You see my friend you’ve been stumbling around in darkness for too long. You have been trying to get your eyes so used to the darkness, but your eyes will never get used to the darkness that you been living in. Your eyes weren’t made for the darkness, but rather for light. You’ve been holding onto things that aren’t truly satisfying, and inside of your heart you’ve been believing that you can continue to walk in this darkness on your own, but you will ultimately fall or die living this way. I know that there has been moments when you were standing there in that darkness and you felt that your life would be so much better if you could just see more clearly.
Friend, if you want to see life clearly then choose to accept Jesus Christ today. He will be “The Light” that will help get you out of the darkness that you’re in. You see, no matter where you’re at, and no matter how much darkness you’re in, He is here for you at this very moment. As a matter in fact, this light has been burning for you for a long time. Just call out to His name wherever you’re at and say, “Jesus, save me from this life of darkness, this life of sin that I’m living in. Forgive me, for my sins that I’ve committed. I believe that you died for me to save me. I ask that you will come into my life and be my Lord and my Savior. Help me to live my life for you.” Amen.
If you prayed that prayer, then you now have the light in you to get you out of darkness. Now be free and experience a new life in Christ. God bless you friend.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
